All About Me

Things You Should Know About Me
- My name is Kristyn, and I’m 20. My birthday is June 2nd, so if it’s past that date and this still says 20, please remind me to fix it.
- I am (probably) an ENFP. I’m also a non-denominational Christian (which basically means I believe in God and Jesus but it’s cool if you don’t), a fairly liberal Democrat, a feminist, a college student, and a Gemini. I am also very good at being very loud, and at being very lazy.
- My “things I’m tagged in” tag is a pretty good place to get an idea of me, although it is somewhat disproportionately filled with butt-related things.
- This is a personal blog, which means that you will see me do a lot of talking about my personal life. This sometimes includes complaining, talking about awkward subjects, or very frankly discussing my body parts and their various functions.
- NSFW posts sort of come and go in waves, but always expect the unexpected. You never know when I might reblog some pictures of genitalia covered in glitter (although, to be fair, that was one time).
- I really like glitter. Also flowers.
- My tagging structure is still relatively new, and pretty much forever under construction. I’m always willing to tag something if it bothers somebody, considering my current tagging method is not meant for anything like Tumblr Savior (mostly), but for my personal organization. This means that some things are going to be tagged, but not all, unless you ask.
- I try to tag posts that might be considered upsetting or offensive, but I don’t have any system for it. I try to use the phrase “trigger warning” specifically if I think it’s needed.
- You are all going to be referred to by pet names, of varying degrees of affection and ridiculousness.
- I tend to develop celebrity crushes (for lack of a better term) at the drop of a hat. These will range from explainable to a little disconcerting. I am a bit sorry for them (especially the stranger ones), but will mostly pretend not to be.
- I have a TMI tag I use liberally, found at Every day is TMI Tuesday. These may contain anything from boob talk to semi-explicit descriptions of aforementioned bodily functions. Click at your own risk. Usually, though, boob talk falls under the break the boob silence tag, which I share with several other people.
- Incidentally, Wednesdays are (occasionally) RDJ Pinup Wednesdays. This has become a less frequent occasion, but like the glittery genitalia, you should never not expect it.
- When Mapcrunch was en vogue, I developed an irrational hatred for Norway. This does not reflect my opinion on actual Norwegians, however, who are generally quite nice.
- I like a ridiculous amount of things, and probably all of them are reflected in what I post. On this blog you will at least somewhat occasionally find Harry Potter, Final Fantasy, Game of Thrones, Disney, Les Miserables, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Sherlock Holmes, Doctor Who, 30 Rock, Once Upon A Time, Pushing Daisies, Farscape, Cabin Pressure, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Star Trek, Batman, the Avengers, other superheroes, handsome actors, fantastic people, stuff about love, pie, mermaids, books, video games, television shows, history, owls, booty, yellow car, attractive people, anything else that strikes my fancy, and flowers.
- I am actually a Sherlock Holmes blog rather convincingly (?) masquerading as somebody who blogs about other things. In general I have separate tags for each adaptation I regularly reblog, but I would personally expect to see a staggering amount of it, because you most certainly will. My dream is to one day be a Sherlockian scholar.
- My ask box is literally always open if you want to have a chat about something. I love talking about stuff, especially the things that I like.
- You may notice that I’ve reblogged some things twice. Generally, I don’t tag multiple reblogs, as they are for my own amusement.
- I don’t tolerate hate, about anything, to anybody, period. Don’t come here looking for it, and don’t come here to spew it. This goes for all kinds of rudeness, but especially fandom-related shenanigans.
- I cry a lot. This is not an exaggeration. If anything, this is an under-representation. I don’t think I’ve gone more than three days without crying in at least a year. In general I’m very excitable, and frequently have extreme emotional reactions to almost any stimulus.
- I tend to get very upset over various historical figures and famous people who have since passed. You will probably hear about them, some more frequently than others. Especially one in particular, who is my baby. I’m quite sorry for the crying fits I will undoubtedly have.
- Accordingly, one of the little goals of my life is to make everyone who knows me incapable of watching My Fair Lady without experiencing some level of discomfort. Please don’t engage me on this subject unless you want it to happen to you, too.
- I’m a creative writing major, and accordingly sometimes I post the things I write. That (and a myriad of reference posts I haven’t sorted through) can be found under the “My Writing” link.
- Sometimes (rarely) I also post work from my YouTube account.
- Also found amongst the links are the “My Family” page, which will take you to the blogs of some of my absolute favorite people, and the “My Ships” page, which will hopefully give you an idea of exactly what kind of crazy you are stepping into. A preliminary warning: I do not hold responsibility for any mental scarring you may endure because of those ships. To put it bluntly, I do what I want.
- My friends like to lovingly tease me. Accordingly, you will probably see a lot of silly things shipping me with several people, including Barack Obama, Abraham Lincoln, and my ex-communications professor. I’m also a bit sorry about that.
- I love making new friends.
- I love you.
